Registration Information

Welcome to Bashaw Minor Ball Association!

Thank you so much for registering your child with our association.  We are excited  for another fun year!

Some commonly asked questions we want to share: 

1.  What days will my child be scheduled to play? 

•   We are hoping to go with a similar schedule to last year: 

Softball and 9U (Rookie)  = Tuesdays and Thursdays

Baseball = Mondays and Wednesdays    

 Learn to play can pretty much pick a day, if they use the diamonds before 6:00pm like last year.

**The ages/level of teams may switch up a bit but basically Softball on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Baseball on Mondays and Wednesdays.  We put Rookies with the girls’ days last season so that we had 3 teams per night with 3 diamonds, and will do again if needed.  These days are subject to change if needed.

2.  What times are practices and games?

•  The 3 leagues that we are involved in all have game times set a 6:30pm on week nights and each league has different nights of the week for games, so this may vary a bit.
  
  
• Practices were all at 6:30pm except LTP and one team who chose 4:30pm-6:00pm.  This can be adjusted per team.

3.  What kind of travel is in these leagues?

• LTP is mostly in Bashaw with some exhibition games set up by managers during the last half of the year
  .
•  Rookies travel mostly to Camrose and area (ie.Bawlf).
  
  
• The older/remaining teams are in central/north central leagues and travel is Ponoka, Clive, Lacombe, Stettler, Rimbey, to name a few.

Some other notes worth mentioning:

•  All of the leagues we were in played weeknights.  There were a couple teams who chose to enter a tournament which were on a weekend and all of the boys leagues ended with a playoff tournament which was a weekend near the end of June (Rookies may be Saturday only).
  
  
• Start dates for practices can vary between teams and we leave that up to Coaches/Managers.  All Leagues start games the first week of May.
